About The Project

Pixel Prop is an open-source project delivering authentic Google Pixel properties, fingerprints, and features to any Android device systemlessly.

Web Developer

Develops and maintains the website, release mirrors, user documentation, and beta distribution pipelines.

Module Architecture & Mechanics

Technical breakdown of how Pixel Prop modifies system behavior without touching physical partitions.

Systemless Prop Overrides

Loads targeted values from system.prop at early boot. Overrides device identity parameters including ro.product.* and attestation values (ro.product.*_for_attestation) without modifying read-only system partitions.

Targets: Magisk / KernelSU / APatch

Sysconfig XML Entitlements

Mounts authentic Pixel sysconfig definitions directly into /product/etc/sysconfig/. Unlocks Pixel-exclusive feature flags at the Android framework level, including Pixel Experience entitlements (2017–2024), Adaptive Charging, Quick Tap gestures, and Next-Generation Assistant (NGA).

Location: /system/product/etc/sysconfig/

Boot Sync & Process Cycling

The late-start service (service.sh) awaits sys.boot_completed=1 and storage decryption before managing config.prop parameters. It synchronizes Google Play Services (GMS), Google Services Framework (GSF), and Quick Search Box processes to refresh cached device identities.

Lifecycle: late_start service / post-fs-data

Install-Time Script Verification

Installer scripts enforce SHA-256 integrity audits during flash time via customize.sh. Every binary and execution script (*.sh) is verified against embedded checksums to block unauthorized modifications, malicious repackaging, or incomplete downloads.

Security: SHA-256 runtime validation
